HEMET-SAN JACINTO GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY, INC.

The Hemet-San Jacinto Society has undertaken a project to list all Obituaries in our local newspapers. We have started with the Hemet News, (1899) and will be adding additional papers in the future.

In the earlier papers, we found that many people died without an obituary. We have located PROBATE, NOTICE TO CREDITORS, and ESTATE SALES in place of obituaries. These will be offered.

We have made every effort to locate the name of a wife who is listed by her husbands name only; Mrs. Henry Jones = Sarah. We have listed her as JONES, SARAH

The Society has available a complete list of all the burials in the San Jacinto Valley Cemetery, (1888 – 2007) as well as the San Jacinto Valley Past & Present book which has the story of hundreds of families in the valley and there ancestors.
